Igbo presidency: Biafra youths mock Ohanaeze, reveals who will take over from BuharBiafra Nations Youth League, BNYL, has mocked Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, over their call for 2023 Igbo Presidency.

BNYL said the position of the OYC is not the general position of Biafran youths.
In a statement made available to DAILY POST by the National Leader of BNYL, Princewill Chimezie Richard, the group warned OYC against positioning themselves as voice of Biafra youths.
The leadership of the OYC had on Tuesday, declared that no form of gang-up would deny the South-East the opportunity of producing Nigeria’s President in 2023.
This was in reaction to DAILY POST’s earlier report on the revelation by the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki that the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu was positioning himself to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
BNYC’s statement said, “When you hear Ohanaeze Youths, One will think they are truly youths but when you go closely to them they are men above 40yrs still claiming to be youths.
“Ask the past and present Leader of Ohanaeze youths how old are there, the public will be shocked.
“As far as we are concerned, Ohanaeze youths does not represent the interest of youths of former Eastern region, even the Igbo youths.”
“2023 Igbo Presidency does not solve the problem of the people of South East region, the Igbo man will be disgraced in Aso Rock just like former President Goodluck Jonathan.
“Of course we know that Tinubu a Yoruba man and a Muslim have interest in the 2023 Presidency, Bukola Saraki have interest and if he looses in 2019, he will wait for 2023,
“Atiku is also there, Kwankwaso and Tambuwal are waiting, and these people forced Jonathan out by decamping to the APC party, now the same people have returned to their former party the PDP to secure their interest, and the interest of the North, even the so called APGA is now dancing to the tone of the North, recently they said they will be fielding a Northern candidate, and I began to wonder how many years will the North continue to rule Nigeria, count from the Military regime it is the North, so what makes OYC feel that in 2023, an Igbo man will emerge?
“I think it is time for them to retrace their steps and stop this noise making on newspaper front pages.”
The group said the destiny of the Igbos lies on Biafra and not Nigeria Presidency.
“In Biafra, our constitution will recognize rotation of power, to satisfy every tribe and region.”
