The descendants of the giants By GBILE AKANNI

And Ishbi- benob, one of the descendants of the giants, whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of bronze, and who was armed with a new sword, thought to kill David. (2Sam 21:16 - ESV) REFLECTION: While I may be so armed against the giants, I must not ignore the descendants of the giants, who has been armed with a new sword and who is thinking in his heart to attempt what all others have dreaded. He thought of killing David. I must not make a mistake that only the giant will attempt to destroy me. I must look out for their little descendants that creeps in with only one aim and it is to slay me before anyone will notice it. No one thought this young man was attempting such a great thing. It would have come as a surprise to everyone. He would have scored a cheap victory but a costly damage to the kingdom of God. He drew the new sword quietly and aimed at David at his wearied point. What a matter you are showing me this morning! What a caution I must take in time! Whereas adultery...

THE PATHFINDERS REACH FOR THE LADIES,

During your 20s, men are trooping and everyone wants to marry you. They are all over you. Your WhatsApp doesn’t rest. Your messenger is filled up. If you breath on Facebook, you will get 400 likes and 350 comments. You can’t walk on the street without ssshhh ssshhh. Your breasts are very comely at this time. Your lips are succulent and your legs are smooth. Even if you are ugly, it doesn’t show much at this level of your life because everything is still standing tall. The backside is still very nicely shaped and bouncing properly. Now, the mistake most of the ladies make is this: 1. At this level, you easily dump guys in relationship. Any little thing, you break up. In your mind, there are many fishes in the ocean. Over 20 other guys are bothering you for relationship, so you can easily hook up with another guy. After six months, you break up again and start another one. You are like hot akara. You cannot bend down and build a solid relationship nor learn how to tolerate a man ...

Morata: I suffered due to Conte's style

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata says Antonio Conte's tactics were part of the reason he "suffered" in his first season in the Premier League. Morata made an explosive start to his Stamford Bridge career, scoring six goals in six league appearances at the start of 2017-18, but things quickly soured for the Spain international. A mysterious back problem blighted much of the campaign and he only scored a further five goals in the top flight and four in cup competitions. Morata has shown encouraging signs of a return to form since Maurizio Sarri replaced Conte as head coach, however, scoring his first goal of the season in last month's 3-2 win over Arsenal, and thinks he is better suited to the new system. When asked if he feels more comfortable with Sarri in charge, he told Cadena SER: "Yes, yes, yes. For me, yes. It's not for nothing, but for the style of play. It wasn't my style of play and I suffered a little because of that." Morata has ...
